I hired Lisa to serve as my developmental editor, and then line editor on a book [Before I Lose My Own Mind: Dementia Caregiver Survival, In press, Girl Friday Books] that I had finished but had not yet shopped to publishers. I am certain that Lisa's expertise led me to get a contract soon after! Lisa was very reasonably priced (and did not "pad" her services with things I didn't ask for), she was supportive and professional and was accessible throughout the process. My next project will be going to Lisa!    

Lisa was wonderful to work with on a revision of a nine-chapter book/manual on perinatal mental health. Lisa demonstrated excellent communication, coordination, and timeliness in managing this massive editorial project. I greatly appreciated her edits. She added suggestions to provide more depth and explanation when needed, addressed issues of voice consistency throughout, and provided insight from a reader's perspective as well as superb copyediting.
